About This Product

A very popular choice for removing insulation from high voltage cables, designed for use on PE, XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene), and ERP (ethylene propylene rubber) insulations. Easily adjust this tool to work on cables with an outside dimension of ½” to 1-3/4”. Adjust the blade depth and angle, then turn the tool around the cable to spiral-cut the insulation away from the conductor.

This tool comes with a wedge blade installed for use on XLPE insulation. A storage compartment on the underside of the tool includes a straight blade for EPR insulations. A tool stop guide is included and helps measure cut-back lengths.
